Abstract

Cyber security ensures the security of its citizens’ life and resources and government security as well. Cyber security is one of the crucial elements to ensure one country’s development because in this twenty-first century, people are so involved in digital devices and lifestyle. Cyber security or security of information technology is the technique used to secure networks, computers, networks, data, and programs from unauthorized access or exploitative attacks. The National Cyber Security Index in 2020, Mexico holds the medium position, and Sierra Leone holds the lower position and their positions express their scenario quite clear in their cyber system. This paper examines the cyber security system, the challenges of cyber security and cyber-crime scenarios of Mexico and Sierra Leone. Along with this paper also critically analyze how these two countries can develop their cyber security and the challenges as well.
