Survey on Clustering Algorithm in CRSN

Abstract

These days, with precipitous increase in the number of wireless devices used in communication, the need of spectrum is also increasing. However even if the demand of spectrum is huge, the available spectrum is underutilized. As compared to wireless sensor network (WSN) and Adhoc network, the cognitive network is environment is more complex because of node mobility and dynamic channel allocation. The node clustering in CR-WSN differs from conventional wireless sensor networks. This paper anticipates to provide various directions for research in the CRSN field and encourage the researchers to consider various deployment challenges while researching and designing for clustering protocols for CRSN.
