Abstract

Data transfer, privacy, data storage, telecommunications and national security are complex and intertwined legal issues that involve technology, public policy, business, trade and legal issues. Moreover, these critical issues are growing internationally. The expanding use of the national security rationale to address these issues by the United States, leading to questionable business intervention, is a critical development becoming ever more ominous every day.
