Abstract

The wireless sensor network (WSN) can be used in the field of agriculture to facilitates the farmers. The technology-driven agriculture system using WSN is known as Precision Agriculture (PA). Applying wireless sensor network technologies helps agriculture from adverse environmental effects. The wireless sensor network (WSN) is one of the most interesting research topics in the information technology domain. The proper definition of conflicting objectives helps in obtaining optimized conditions in precision agriculture. The major contribution of this work to present a status of research work in the field of (Multi-Objective Optimization) MOO for WSN in precision agriculture. Another contribution is to define different objectives for WSN in Precision Agriculture.

Keywords: Precision Agriculture, wireless sensor network (WSN), Multi Objective Optimization (MOO)
