Abstract

Colleges and universities across the nation have reported serious problems with students gathering for drinking parties against restrictions and then testing positive for the coronavirus. College students are likely carriers of the virus. However, they do not have symptoms, so they are unaware they have the virus without being tested. Now is the time for colleges and universities to launch campaigns to provide students with information regarding the benefits of being vaccinated for the coronavirus when vaccines are available. There must be a strong emphasis on the dangers of college students and other young people unknowingly passing on the virus to family members, friends, and others.
