Abstract

As a working paper the aim is to reflect on the interplay between the ECHR and the HRA as human rights laws protecting human rights in the UK. It adopts an international law perspective and proceeds on the basis that the interplay between the ECHR and the HRA is one of a relationship between international law and domestic law, specifically the implementation of international law via a domestic statute.
