Abstract
The overall purpose of the article is to analyze the effects of COVID-19 on the economy and future migration aspects of Nepal. The article discusses how push factors induce migration. The paper also presents the negative effects of pandemic on country’s economy and migration. Finally, in order to mitigate the negative effects of pandemic, the government needs to bring people centred innovative plans to address the effects of COVID-19 on economy otherwise there remains a high chance of emigration from Nepal in the future.
