Abstract

In order to understand the organizational sources of continuous innovation, the paper provides an in-depth analysis of a leading company in the hearing aid industry, which showed impressive ability to develop and introduce innovation in the Nineties. Findings focus on three dynamic capabilities used by the innovator, and their resource-based nature. Discussion points to the generalization of the results and their main implication on the organizational understanding of both continuous innovation and the nature of dynamic capabilities.
