Abstract
Cloud Computing is an emerging Information Technology component
dedicated to the virtualization of IT infrastructure, systems, etc. Virtualization
of techniques is possible by internet technologies and services. Cloud
Computing is growing rapidly and dedicated to the creation of a healthy and
robust virtual IT infrastructure. Cloud Computing is required for distributing
IT Infrastructure in the concerned organizations and also its branches. Initially,
only in Government sectors, Cloud Computing was popular, but in the recent
past due to its benefits and advantages, it is rapidly started to use in the
government and public sectors. Cloud Computing is may also nomenclature
as Cloud Technology or Virtualization Technology in certain cases. Cloud
Computing consists with many service models and it is also classified into
few types. As far as its emerging models are concerned, important are
Software, Applications, Platforms, Hardware, infrastructure, Contents, etc.
Various other technologies increasing in IT market and such as Big Data,
Analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), etc., and these are connected with cloud computing; directly or indirectly. Cloud Computing market is growing not
only in developed countries but also in developing countries. And the market
of the cloud depends on various aspects, criteria, and facts. Not only existing
and well-known IT companies and consultancy services but also other and
newly established organizations started the cloud services or operations. This
paper is a review based case study on Cloud Computing and here the current
market scenario of the cloud with reference to India is provided. Brief details
of the companies are also provided in this chapter with a few requirements
for selecting cloud based services.
