Abstract

: The primary objective of this article is to trace the origin and history of the principles of the general philosophy of Islamic law. Where did the Muslim scholars get the ideas of the general philosophy of Islamic law? Do the ideas and Ideals of the general philosophy of Islamic law come from the primary sources of Islamic law. How do we say that the general philosophy of Islamic law is an Islamic science in its substance, spirit, and essence? Is there any alien intellectual or philosophical influence upon the general philosophy of Islamic law? How did the classical Muslim scholars come up with the ideas and principles of the general philosophy of Islamic law? How did they identify the ideas and ideals of the general philosophy of Islamic law? How did they define them? This paper explores all these questions briefly and precisely.
