Abstract
The interior design method model named 'Rachana Vidhi', is a formulation of interior design methods at the ISI Denpasar Interior Design Study Program which was developed from a comparison of several interior design methods, research based design methods, cultural development strategies that synergize with the development of information technology in the industrial revolution 4.0. The specific objective in this research is to analyze the relevance of the model in the context of developing local cultural values in the digital age, especially in aesthetic experience in interior design education. The research method uses documentary with a descriptive-qualitative approach in two stages of research. The first stage is carried out by collecting textual data from professional organizations (HDII), Interior Design's Professional Body of Knowledge issued by the Council of Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA), literature and journals. The second step is the comparative method. The results of the comparison will be synthesized into research conclusions, in the form of interior design methods based on local culture and industrial revolution 4.0. The results showed that the Rachana Vidhi's model emphasizes the development of local culture-based designs, which prioritizes students' aesthetic experiences that are introduced to local cultural material intensely.
