Abstract

A school is set ablaze by what police investigations have confirmed was an electricity fault. Frantic efforts were put in place to rescue about thirty students who slept in the affected dormitory. Several students suffered serious injuries but none died. During their evacuation to hospital, the ambulance carrying the victims of fire encountered a serious morning traffic jam along Kitululu road. The driver of the ambulance decided to drive it on the roadside and pedestrian walkways to avoid the traffic. Unknown to the driver, the ambulance rammed into a street boy who had coined up on the side of the road sleeping, the boy was reported dead on arrival to the hospital. Discuss any possible criminal liabilities in this case.
