This essay builds on the work of Professor Meera Deo's book Unequal Profession and documents hegemonic forces within law schools that discredit and disenfranchise underrepresented faculty, including women of color. The essay provides a roadmap for administrators and fellow faculty to undertake immediate and proactive measures to mitigate disparate impact experienced by women of color and other underrepresented faculty.
