Smart Parking System Using IOT Technologies

Abstract
In recent times the rising population in societies is the problem for managing an efficient parking system. In this web application, we are implementing an IoT-based project which approaches the parking problem in societies. IoT is used in the parking system in the form of ultrasonic sensors and a Raspberry Pi. The system shows all the details of the parking spaces and once the user enters the parking the system will navigate him/her to the reserved spot. With the avail of Ultrasonic Sensor, the presence of any Conveyance in the slot is sensed. As soon as the ultrasonic sensor detects that the car is present, it will activate the Pi-Cam and Pi-Cam will click the photo of the number plate and authoritatively mandate the user to enter his/her details and after that, a slot will be allotted to them. This will be then updated in the database, PHPMyAdmin, and simultaneously will show the status on the front Webpage.
