Abstract

Although the world has made great strides towards LGBTQ protections, there are groups around the world that are still victims of colonization’s ripple effect. Following a pre-colonial, colonial, and post-colonial timeline there is a clear line from colonization to its negative impacts on LGBTQ rights.
