Abstract

This review paper explores the effects of the COVID-19 virus. This is a global pandemic. This corona virus was unknown before outbreak began in Wuhan, China, in December 2019 (WHO, 2020). Corona virus effected whole world economy. Sri Lankan economy mainly depend on the fireing trade. Importantly, it review about Sri Lanka economy. There are some important things we are reported. About GDP, employment, tourism, household income, exchange rate, poverty and remitencess. Variuos short term and middle term, direct or indirect economic shocks were identified the COVID-19 and it is impact of Sri Lanka economy. Last two years in Sri Lanka economy significantly change. By natural and human effect.It can be aid that human effects are the ester attract. This virus can be referred to accumulated as a natural effects. But we are going to explore about the impact gap of the virus in this only. Mention the massive decline in the tourism in the Sri Lanka. Other impact is household income. The virus has had the greatest impact on household income. COVID-19 pandemic has created many negative effects on key income earning sectors.
