Abstract

Skimmed Revisited responds to the interdisciplinary contributions to this symposium issue inspired by Skimmed: Breastfeeding, Race, and Injustice. It recounts a post-publication visit to Reidsville, North Carolina, the birthplace of the famous Fultz sisters, and reflects on issues of 'first food' oppression during a global pandemic.

Keywords: Critical Race Theory, Food Justice, Food Law and Policy, Health Justice
