Validity Characteristics in Electronic Voting Through Blockchain

Abstract

Electronic voting is a new digital tool, which creates innovative digital ways of casting votes, as well as electronic means of counting them. However, concerns about network security and communication privacy for electronic voting have increased, so securing electronic voting is very urgent and has become a popular topic in the area of communications and democracy. This work aims to carry out a theoretical and practical study of how Blockchain technology can meet the requirements of electronic voting and the principles of universal, free, secret, direct, personal and non-transferable, ensuring privacy and the nonfalsification of votes.
