Abstract

This discussion presents the case of the UN Mandated University for Peace as a subject of international law. Having situated the creation of UPeace in history and socio-politics, it goes on to test whether the elements of international personality, necessary to consider an international organisation, apply to UPeace. It is our contention, having affirmatively tested all these four, and given corresponding or contrasting illustrations, that UPeace is indeed a subject of international law.
