He further maintained that every nation of the world has recognized and accepted education as the springboard of societal development. For developing nations in particular, education remains a potent factor for eradicating poverty and changing the misfortune of under development. Women are lagging behind as per as education in Northern Nigeria due to gender disparity and gap. Educating a woman is educating a nation and it quickly closes gender gaps. Thus, it is well noticed that the region is dominated by men who gave the women a wider gap to fill in all endeavors such as social, economic, political and even the religious view point. A lot of women were with no access to education let aside technological skills. It is extremely debilitating for the women inability to write their names or read a notice from a government department. Poverty is experienced not just as material deprivation, but also as marginalization, which means that those living in poverty often have no or little opportunity to influence the political, economic, and social processes and institutions. Mobile technology is identified as better means for mobile learning and has impact on improving literacy skills and women empowerment.
