Abstract

This research is interested to observe from a multi-dimensional perspective the consumption effects (domestic consumption), production effects (domestic production), trade effects (imports), and revenue (government) under different tariffs simultaneously. We introduce a new model is entitled “the multi-optimal tariffs model (MOT-Model” This new model requests the uses of Econographicology. The main objective is to propose a new multi-dimensional graphical framework to replace the classic two-dimensional graph framework to observe the effects of tariffs from a dynamic multi-dimensional perspective. Usually, the optimum tariff analysis uses (i) partial and general equilibrium; (ii) small and large country analysis; (iii) static modeling. The MOT-model can adopt a long number of goods and services with different tariffs on different countries or regions. We try to generate multi-partial or multi-general equilibriums with a dynamic effect using graphical software to reproduce an effect of real-time to observe with detail the tariff effects in the same pictorial space and time simultaneously without any restriction or constraint. From now academics and students can have a better idea about the pro and cons of tariffs in international trade as a whole.
