Abstract
This article elucidates the theory of the entropy of the body and weighs it against the theory of the circadian clock by comparing data from the animal world to determine which one truly controls the sleep patterns of living organisms. We zoom at one particular sleep disorder, insomnia, and we delve into the cell to explain how it occurs in the body.
