Abstract

Entrepreneurs, although being in precarious position are the backbone of an economy. Entrepreneurship has time and again proved to be a pragmatic solution and even post Covid problems were no exception. The trembling economy in the new normal owing to the unexpected length of crisis, financially fragile business houses, closures and mass lay-off witnessed to havoc conditions. But entrepreneurship opportunities characterized by resilience, perseverance, innovativeness and flexibility led to value creation, alliance, creative destruction and skill enhancement, thereby reviving the economy. The present paper outlines how the covid19 pandemic is a dead and alive challenge for the business houses and accordingly, the entrepreneurs grabbed the pandemic as an opportunity and proved that an agile instance can be beneficial. The emerging financial technologies brought about an era of contactless payments giving rise to new startups and businesses. The business was more inclined to target new markets and customers especially e-commerce clients according to the dynamic market rather than the traditional business methods. There was a paradigm shift in the resilience of their business strategies like service focused product marketing and delivery, health equipment and covid safety products. Climate change also added a competitive edge in the automotive sector with the rise in the production of EVs and renewable energy resources. The research findings provide an insight into the new challenges and abrupt increase of opportunities in the entrepreneurial journey.
