Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and understand the differentiation between free speech and hate speech, the distinguishing factors behind those and the margin of free speech in this democratic and globalized world. In order to analyze this fact, the author has chosen the qualitative approach of research and content analysis technique where he analyzed journals, articles, legal provisions, academic blogs, and several national newspapers. In the consequences of the study, the author has found that there have been a narrow marginal factors between free speech and hate speech though many people are trying to abuse the notion of free speech by spreading hate speeches.
