A Primary Probe into Customer Perception About Moocs During Covid Era

Abstract
Purpose: - The pandemic created a lot of trouble for students across the world. MOOCs
served as a saviour in these turbulent times and hence a number of enrollments in these courses
surged during the pandemic. The purpose of this paper is to have a firsthand feel of the
perception of the customers about the MOOC courses they joined and completed during
Covid-19.
Design/ Methodology/ Approach: -The data collected was collected through Google Forms,
Various secondary data sources - Research Papers and Industry reports were harnessed for
this purpose.
Findings: - The results of the study indicate that most of the people who enrolled in MOOCs
during the lockdown period, were having a favourable impression of the same. The study also
indicated the importance of social media and WOM for spreading awareness and increasing
the sale of MOOC courses.
