Healthcare and Education Policies within the Framework of Local Autonomy in Romania: An Empirical Study

Abstract

Health and education are matters of great importance for every individual, thus becoming important issues on the public agenda. Authorities are called to manage efficiently an effective this problems but always according to the law and the public interest. This paper presents the actual state, development and consequences of local autonomy within the context of the administrative reforms that took place in Romania in the last two years in the health and education system. A theoretical part is followed by a legal framework and supported in the end by empirical examples.
