Why Critical Race Theory Fails as Science

Abstract

Critical race theory (CRT) is a Marxian derived point of view claiming to account for all social action by power struggles between social divisions in this instance based on race.

This view of society is wrong, fails all standards of intellectual integrity and quality, and intellectually deficit to the extent it must be dismissed from any curriculum of any intellectual institution claiming any degree of reasoned or scientific validity.

If our purpose is to build a free society, where individual rights asserted over group demands, a society of social justice, distributive fairness, diversity, and peaceful co-existence, where politicians are actively committed to enabling workable compromise between groups, and where they are committed to reducing the social angst for all citizens, then it is paramount we implement ideas that will enable the result.

Critical Race Theory will not achieve this result and as a matter of principle, due the adverse quality of the ideas, CRT will cause social disintegration, individual bitterness, increase social angst, and produce a fractious society bordering on violence.

But, the start point of dismissing CRT is NOT CRT, but the fundamental moral decision by every individual to conduct themselves based on reason.
