Abstract

This document is a Desktop Assessment of of the situation of women and children in Cambodian prisons. It includes Domestic law like Cambodian Constitution and Criminal Law as well as International Law like Bangkok Rules, Nelson Mandela Rules, Convention on Rights of Child, D. United Nations Rules for the Protection of Juveniles Deprived of their Liberty, 1990, United Nations Standard Minimum Rules for the Administration of Juvenile Justice. It also includes gender and human rights mainstreaming exercise. This assessment was carried out as a part of academic requirement.
