Abstract
The Piece of War: Narratives of Resilience and Hope is NOT ONLY a careful collection of non-sensational narratives of the consequences of civil wars, more so demonstrations (not merely expressions) of resilience and hope of the affected civilian population amidst acute adversities, which is the most significant contribution to literature this book makes.
