Abstract

At present, there have been limited research on the improved production performance of alfalfa under the natural drought conditions caused by salicylic acid in the field. In this paper, the effect of different salicylic acid concentrations on the production performance of alfalfa from different places is evaluated based on the membership values. The results show that salicylic acid relieves drought damage of alfalfa by participating in photosynthesis system, oxidation physiology and phenical changes. Suitable application concentrations depend on the alfalfa varieties. This study reveals the mechanism by which salicylic acid affects the production performance of alfalfa, and also provides a feasible method for improving field performance of alfalfa.
