Abstract

Highlights● SnS/Bi2MoO6 composites were successfully prepared by one-step hydrothermal method and normal temperature stirring method.● SnS/Bi2MoO6-2.26% exhibits remarkable PEC response, visible light absorption and photogenerated carrier transfer efficiency.● The detection of Cr (VI) based on SnS/Bi2MoO6-2.26% p-n heterojunction PEC sensor has high sensitivity, selectivity and reproducibility.● The PEC sensor based on SnS/Bi2MoO6-2.26% has a excellent PEC response to the detection of Cr (VI) in lake water, soil and agricultural products.
