Abstract

The literal meaning of immigration is an international event, through which a group of people can move into their destined countries, which are not their legitimate homelands or do not possess the respective citizenships of those countries. Most often it can be evaluated that the reasons for immigration are diversified for their individuals. Immigrants move towards those countries with adequate availability of the required resources and this is termed as the pull factor.

In America, the immigration law has complicated aspects, which is critical for the understanding of the individuals. Immigration law comprises a set of rules, through which the US federal government determines the time span and governs the naturalization process for people (including their rights, obligations and boundaries), who want to stay in America in the long run or for the rest of their lives. Contextually, it can be emphasized that the American Immigration Act significantly generates a certain amount of impact on the foreigners, who are placed in the country as the immigrants.
