Management Practices of Beach Resorts in the Municipality of Bacacay

Abstract

The management works with and through people and other organizational resources to achieve organizational goals. The study employed the descriptive research method in gathering relevant information of the study. In addition, the survey questionnaire was utilized in gathering vital responses. The study's findings revealed that the selected beach resorts have various vision, mission, organizational structure, years in the industry, number of employees, and management practices. The respondents have suggestions to improve the management practices. However, to deal with company challenges, the owners of the resorts should conduct regular management evaluations and assessments of their vision and mission. In addition, the management should provide regular training, seminar workshops, and personality development to their employees. Hence, the resort owners should create effective marketing strategies in their operations and unique campaign approaches to compete in the sector.
