Abstract

Highlights1. A novel dual-site fluorescent probe (MTRN) for HClO and H2S was constructed by combining naphthalimide fluorophore with rhodamine fluorophore.2. The detection limits (LOD) for HClO and H2S were calculated to be 3.39 nM and 0.13 μM, respectively.3. MTRN was successfully exploited for detecting HClO and H2S in cell imaging and test strip.
