Abstract

Holiday wishes for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) to make it even better. Update TESS, notify when application approved, stop issuing paper registration certificates, stop using US Classes, create pre-populated for multiple base registrations for Madrid applications, focus audit program on most likely fraudulent applications, request evidence of use when many goods in application, refer attorney to Office of Enrollment and Discipline when applications are questionable, expand focus on legal use in commerce for questionable Chinese applications, stop issuing substantive Failure to Function refusals.
