Abstract

Spanish Abstract: En su más reciente ensayo, MANUEL LOPES PORTO dedica su reflexión a una de las temáticas estrella de la discusión política en el marco europeo: la financiación de la Unión Europea. Además del interés suscitado por el tema (/derivado del propio tema), el texto se revela de una importancia decisiva ya que procede simbiosis una no muy frecuente entre la visión académica (reflejo de los años de docencia del autor, catedrático de derecho en Coimbra) con la visión del “insider” (resultado de los diez años de ejercicio como diputado europeo y de su constante intervención publica en temáticas europeas).

English Abstract: In his most recent essay, MANUEL LOPES PORTO dedicates his reflection to one of the star topics of political discussion in the European framework: the financing of the European Union. In addition to the interest aroused by the topic (/derived from the topic itself), the text is revealed to be of decisive importance since it proceeds from a not very frequent symbiosis between the academic vision (reflecting the years of teaching of the author, professor of law in Coimbra ) with the vision of the “insider” (result of the ten years of exercise as a European deputy and of his constant public intervention in European issues).
