Abstract

On 12 April 2022, the Asser Institute in The Hague with the support of the Working Group on the Hague Rules (WG) organized an expert meeting on business and human rights arbitration. The event was a follow-up to the launch of The Hague Rules on Business and Human Rights Arbitration at the Peace Palace in December 2019. The meeting sought to bring together scholars, practitioners, and representatives of stakeholders to share their views and take stock of the developments in the area. This report highlights some of the key findings and discussions and aims to provide an overview on crucial issues for the application of the Hague Rules. It also provides further readings at the very end.
