Abstract

Magnetic skyrmions are non-trivial spin-winding textures, that can induce emergent electromagnetic fields. The effects of the gauge potential on the propagation of magnons in skyrmions were considered theoretically. The results show that the emergent electromagnetic fields consist of topological electromagnetic fields induced by static Skyrmions and thermal electromagnetic fields induced by a magnon current. The latter would lead to strong Hall effects, and can be manipulated using extra parameters.

Keywords: emergent electromagnetic fields, topological Hall effect, magnon current, Berry curvature
