Abstract
"Personal Data Protection Law" has not been enacted yet in Turkey. E-government information systems are being popularized to spread information systems and make systems more effective. While aiming for easy and fast access to information, the privacy of personal data is not given enough importance. In most e-government information systems, citizenship numbers and/or identity card information are used as a kind of password. In this study, examples of the problems experienced in these issues are given and possible solutions are presented with the necessary legal perspective.
