Abstract

In this work, Ti3C2Tx/MoS2 particles with sandwich-like hierarchical structure are incorporated into the Ni-P coating by the simple electrodeposition. The addition of Ti3C2Tx/MoS2 particles can make the coating surface with much nodositas and layered “cauliflower” structure possessing the wettability of hydrophobicity. Then, the corrosion resistance increases much by the incorporation of Ti3C2Tx/MoS2 particles and the resistance of Ni-P-Ti3C2Tx/MoS2 composite coating first decreases and then increases with the prolonging immersion time. The corrosion mechanism of the Ni-P-Ti3C2Tx/MoS2 composite coating is analyzed and the role of Ti3C2Tx/MoS2 particles in Ni-P coating is discussed.
