Abstract

Sol-gel auto combustion, a straightforward but efficient wet chemical synthesis, is used to synthesize bismuth telluride nanopowder. XRD and SEM analyses are used to conduct structural and morphological research. The crystalline character of the produced sample is verified by XRD and EDAX measurement is used to confirm the structural composition. The optical characteristics of bismuth telluride are also thoroughly studied using DRS analysis. In this study, Raman spectroscopic analysis of Bi 2 Te 3 nanopowder is also reported.
