Abstract

Compared with CsPbBr3 perovskite quantum dots, CsPbCl3 quantum dots are quite difficult to precipitate in glass matrix. In this work, CsPbCl3-xBrx (X ≤ 3) quantum dots in phosphate glasses are prepared by mechanical crystallization method. Experimental results analysis find that CsPbBr3 quantum dots is easy to obtain in glass matrix under stress, but with the increase of Cl- content, Cl containing quantum dots become difficult to obtain, and the mechanism is further studied. Raman spectra show that the reason why Cl containing quantum dots are difficult to precipitate is attribute to the closer glass network structure. The scanning electron microscope results further show the uniformity of glass matrix gradually improves and the macroscopic defects decrease with the increase of Cl composition due to the closer glass network structure, resulting in the reduction of shear bands under stress, and thus inhibit the nucleation and growth of quantum dots.
