Abstract

A study on why and how people use social networks finds Snapchat makes people happier and more personal, and Facebook and Twitter are not so much. According to Murphy Research, 95% of Snapchat users say the application makes them feel happy, more than any other app tested. Snapchat offers the happiest and the best Social Media platform for students of Colleges and Universities, especially Mphil and PhD. research scholars. The communication experience on Snapchat is more favorable than on any other social media platform like Facebook and Twitter. This study aims to understand how Snapchat users use the application to build a strong and personal relationship with each other and how it benefits the research scholars pursuing their research courses in colleges and universities.

The study will also determine how Snapchat improve the personal relationship of people. The qualitative research method was used to conduct interviews of active Snapchat research scholars studying in colleges and universities using this application in day-to-day life. The questions are based on participants’ experiences using the Snapchat application. The data was examined to find how the Snapchat application is helpful for the research scholars and how they use it in their research studies. Is it really a unique social media platform for scholars?
