Abstract
Research scholars are generally affected by stress, especially in professional courses like Journalism and Mass Communication, Medical; Engineering. They affected by higher stress, which leads to psychological problems like Schizophrenia, Paranoia, cardiac problems, depression, nervousness, etc. Mental health among the research scholars indicates growing concern along with opportunity because of the large number of people who could be reached during a crucial period of life. By their scholarly nature, department premises are also well positioned to develop, evaluate, and disseminate best practices. University offers a unique opportunity to address one of the scholars' most significant public health problems.
Busy schedules of research work can affect the scholar's mental and physical health, especially on improper food habits and less sleeping. This stress can compound over time, leading to even greater stress levels. This study analyzes the stress among Ph.D. scholars from a sample survey. A quantitative method was used in gathering and analyzing the data by distributing questionnaires to the scholars. The results obtained were analyzed for different factors that cause stress among students.
