Abstract

Working with Law Librarians is a book chapter in the book The Scribes Manual for Law Review Editors, edited by Darby Dickerson and Brooke J. Bowman, published by Carolina Academia Press in 2022. In this book chapter, the authors teach law student journal editors how to: explain the various roles, responsibilities, and expertise of librarians at law schools; evaluate the journal’s needs and identify common forms of library support to address those needs; and develop strategies to work with librarians to improve journal workflows and publication processes.
