A Novel Multifunctional Double Perovskite Structure Phosphor La2mgtio6: Mn4+, Eu3+

Abstract
A series of La 2 MgTiO 6 : Mn 4+ and La 2 MgTiO 6 : Mn 4+ , Eu 3+ phosphor samples were prepared by high-temperature solid-phase method. The emission spectra of La 2 MgTiO 6 : 0.007Mn 4+ , 0.07Eu 3+ phosphor samples under 328 nm excitation overlap with the absorbing regions of plant phytochromes P R and P FR , which could be applied to indoor plant lighting. Due to the different emission centers of Mn 4+ and Eu 3+ ions, the fluorescence intensity ratio between the double emission centers is expected for optical sensing. To discuss the optical sensing characteristics by the change of fluorescence intensity ratio at different wavelengths and temperatures, the relative sensitivity of wavelength detection in the range of 288-348 nm maxima is 8.13% nm -1 at 288 nm, and relative sensitivity of optical temperature sensing in the range of 298-498 K maxima is 2.09% K -1 at 498 K, In this study, La 2 MgTiO 6 : Mn 4+ , Eu 3+ phosphor samples with very promising optical properties can provide the possibility of application in multiple fields.
