Abstract
In this work, we developed a low-cost and efficient selective detection method of acaricide residues (ARs) which pose a significant chronic dietary risk to humans and high toxicity concerns. Meanwhile, to reduce matrix effects of samples, a novel and fast pre-treatment technology called magnetic solid phase extraction is used. After the optimization and validation of method, method’s limit of detection and quantitation were calculated as 0.5-0.9 and 1.7-3.1 μg L-1, respectively. Additionally, the adsorption experiment between sorbents and ARs was thoroughly investigated in terms of adsorption behavior, mechanism, and selectivity. Finally, two environmental water samples were selected to verify the feasibility of the proposed method. The relative recovery was from 78% to 115% with a relative standard deviation ranged from 0.2% to 10.8%. These results demonstrated the proposed method was low-cost and efficient, and had abilities to selectively detect multiple ARs.
