Abstract

This research paper deals with the negative impact of cartoons channels on school children. Scientist has proven that children mind is very fast and dynamic in imitating and acquiring knowledge they are really exposed to. The main aim of this research paper is to examine the negative impacts of cartoons channels on school children between the ages of 8 to 12 years old. The data collected from the interviews show that seeing cartoons channels has big impact on children attitude, values, minds and behaviors. In the present scenario Cartoons channels are showing many acts of cruelty, aggressiveness, sexual content, violence, verbal abuse, and offensive language.
