Abstract

This paper is part of a research project comparing Chinese trademark and unfair competition law with US and European trademark and unfair competition law. It is the contribution for "Germany" and covers the historical and doctrinal bases of German trademark and unfair competition law, with a special focus on the two fields' interrelation.
