Abstract
Integrating covalent organic framework (COF)-metal organic framework (MOF) hybrid materials is an effective way to develop a ratiometric fluorescent method. Herein, we reported a strategy for growth of lanthanide organic frameworks on the surface of COF. Carboxyl-functional fluorescent COF was firstly synthesized under solvothermal condition. The surface -COOH reacts with europium (Eu3+) ion and ligand to integrate MOF on the COF. The prepared COF-MOF shows highly thermal stability and chemical stability. Moreover, COF-MOF exhibited dual emissions at 446 nm and 621 nm and show the fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) process from the COF to the MOF. With dual emissions, structural stability and phosphate affinity, the COF-MOF based sensing strategy exhibit good performance for ratiometric fluorescence detection of phosphate.
